After-Hours Drug and Alcohol Testing Services
Kettering Workers’ Care also provides on-call service for
drug and alcohol testing that does not fall within our regular
business hours. Our Certified Drug and Alcohol
technicians are available to meet your employee in the emergency
room or come to your company location.
- WHICH HOSPITALS WILL THE TECHNICIAN COME TO? We will
meet your employee in the emergency room at Kettering Medical
Center, Sycamore Hospital, Southview Hospital, Grandview Hospital,
or Huber Health Urgent Care. These hospitals no longer offer
drug and alcohol testing.
- WHAT IF WE WANT THE TECHNICIAN
TO COME ON-SITE? The
technician will be available to come to your company location
provided that you are open with a supervisor on site.
- WHEN IS THE TECHNICIAN AVAILABLE? The
On-Call Technician is available between the hours of 5pm-7am,
M-Th, and Friday 5pm-Monday 7am over the weekend. As always,
walk-in Drug and Alcohol testing is available from 7:30am-5pm
M-F at each of our three Kettering Workers' Care locations.
- HOW DO WE CALL THE TECHNICIAN? You will
be provided with a cell phone number. The emergency room will
call the technician if you have sent an On-Call Treatment Authorization
form along with the employee also. These forms will be provided
to your designated employee representative along with the contact
numbers once this signed agreement is received.
- WHAT TYPE OF TESTING WILL BE PERFORMED? There
will be 5 types of testing performed: DOT 5 panel drug screen,
Non-DOT 5 panel drug screen, Non-DOT 10 panel drug screen, collection
only drug screen (only if patient brings along form) and breath
alcohol testing. All drug screen specimens will be sent to a
certified lab.
- WHO WILL BE THE MRO (MEDICAL REVIEW OFFICER)? Kettering
Workers' Care's physicians will be the MRO for all drug screening
unless they are collection only and the patient has provided
the company’s own form.
- HOW WILL WE RECEIVE THE RESULTS OF THE TESTING? The
testing results will be reported the same way your other Kettering
Workers' Care testing is handled - to the company's contact person.
-
WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO TO UTILIZE THIS SERVICE?The
On-Call Service is only available by signing
an agreement. Due to the nature of this service, each company
must have an agreement that includes complete instructions
regarding their company policies and needs. For more information on this, please contact our marketing department at (937) 293-7770.
