Dr. Bill Sneeder, MD, MPH, FAAFP
Bill Sneeder grew up in a military family and recently retired
afte rmore than 29 years in teh United States Air force.
His travels with the service hav espanned from Singapore to Saudi
Arabia, Alaska to Peru, bringing him ultimately to Dayton, Ohio.
With a chemistry degree from the Air Force Academy, he attended
medical school at the uniformed Services university of the Health
Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland and completed Family Practice residency
at Andrews Air Force Base. After clinical practice as a family
physician and flight surgeon, he completed a Masters of Public
Health at Johns Hopkins University followed by residencies in Aeorspace
Medicine and Occupational Medicine at the Air Force Shool of Aerospace
medicine in San Antonion, Texas.
His flying experinece includes over 1000 hours ina variety of
fixed and rotary wing military aircraft to include fighter, training,
aerovac, airlift, surveillance, and refueling missions. he capped
off his active duty military career as Chief of Aerospace medicine
on staff of the Air Force Materiel Command Surgeon General, Wright-Patterson
Air Force Base.
He is active in the Dayton community in association with teh medical
training network of local area medical facilities as a occupational
medicine physician with Kettering Workers' Care.
Dr. Sneeder is board certified in Occupational, Aerospace, and
Family Medicine; a certified Medical Review Offercer, Fellow of
teh American Academy of Family Physicians, Associate Fellow of
the Aerospace Medical Association, Ebry-Riddle University Adjunct
Assistant Professor, and an FAA Aviation Medical Examiner.
Dr. Sneeder continues to serve his country and state as a flight
surgeon with theAir National Guard assigned as commander of the
178th Medical Group, Springfield, Ohio. |
